Angola is one of the world's last great untapped climbing destinations. The cliffs of Serra da Leba stretch for kilometers along the southern plataeu and granite domes across the country hold enormous potential for both single-pitch sport and long multipitch lines — there is more unclimbed rock here than we could develop in a lifetime.
During the Climb Angola Festival we'll run a bolting workshop covering the fundamentals of safe, sustainable route development. Whether you're an experienced developer or want to learn how it's done, there's a place for you on the wall. Join the group buy before June 30 and we'll have your bolts waiting for you at the festival.

Angola sees a heavy rainy season, and humidity is the enemy of fixed hardware. To make sure the routes we put up last for generations, we use only 316 stainless steel bolts, hangers and anchors — the most corrosion-resistant grade widely available.
Cheaper zinc-plated hardware degrades quickly in this climate. Investing in SS316 now means safe, reliable anchors for the climbers who come after us.

Choose how many bolts you want to buy, they'll be waiting for you when you arrive at the Climb Angola Festival. You can also buy bolts to contribute to the general route development in Serra da Leba and Angola. Sponsored in part by Fixe Hardware.
