Climb for Water

Climbing takes us to some of the most remote and beautiful places in the world. In Africa, those places are often the poorest and furthest removed from infrastructure. As users of the outdoors, it's our responsibility to give back to the local community. Access to clean water can change lives.

The villages near the climbing areas in Angola have no access to clean water. Women carry water in jugs from springs and wells to their homes. We are working to provide water filters to prevent water-borne diseases and dramatically increase their quality of life.

With your help, we're partnering with Sawyer to bring gravity water filters to the communities. Make a tax-deductible donation below:

Initiatives

We're working hand in hand with the local community to develop climbing and sustainable adventure tourism in Angola, as well as clean water and solar energy in villages near the crags we're developing.

Support the project

Get involved

The best way to support the project is by visting and climbing in Angola! Showing the local communities that adventure tourism is a worthwhile endeavour will help to encourage the development of the sport in the country.

Plan your trip

With daily flights into Angola's capital Luanda from Europe, South Africa and Brazil, it's easier than ever to plan a trip to Angola. Pack your climbing gear and get ready for an adventure of a lifetime.

Donate used gear

Used climbing shoes, retired ropes and harnesses can be donated to the project. The local youth are currently learning to climb barefoot or at best in flip-flops, shoes make a huge difference!

Support financially

Donations are tax deductible in the USA through our 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor, Community Cloud Forest Conservation. Donate on DonorBox
